Take it from Nana Susan - beauty fades. If you're just getting laid, by all means - have at it. But for an actual lasting relationship, if you have no emotional/mental connection, you have nothing. So the sex is great but what are you going to do the other 23 hours of the day? And later, 167 hours every a week, then 719 hours each month? You need someone that you can discuss, debate, joke, share. Someone that you want to spend time with, someone who will support you when you need it, make you laugh, hold you when you need to cry. Bullshit. Bullshit, Bullshit, Bullshit. Humans are for the most part emotional beings, have emotional wants and needs. It's when two people meet who fit in this aspect that something great can happen. People who can't offer anything on this front are usually people who have issues. But they are by no means the majority of anything. Whether or not someone has much to offer in your eyes depends entirely on what they provide and what you need. And what they may for various reasons not provide when you need it. But that doesn't mean they don't offer things. This is not a generational thing, this is a developmental thing in terms of priorities that will always be true. Young people will always mostly go for the most attractive match, gain experience and change to other things. Like younger employees are more likely to chase the better paying job instead of the job that provides the best fit and balance. But no, get a load of this society.
